Explain the difference between DVD & MiniDV camcorder and which is better ?

if you wish to edit the video, purchase a MiniDV camcorder, because DVD videos cannot be edited.

mini dv tapes can be imported, edited and burned onto a dvd though! as long as your computer has the correct hardware!
