Ok so i was thinking about buying a MiniDV camcorder. I would be using it to film me and my mates skateboarding. Would this be my best bet?

My budget is $400. Can i get a decent MiniDV camcorder for this price? I am also willing to buy used as well. I was also looking at getting a fisheye lens. I don't want to spend hundreds and hundreds on the lens as well. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
