Canon VIXIA HV30 MiniDV camcorder for Apple users?

I am a Apple user and thinking of purchasing the Canon VIXIA HV30 MiniDV. From what I read it's Mac compatible and works well with IMovie. Any Mac users out there that have expereince with this camcorde?. Does the editing work well with Imovie?
